Commercial or Non-Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (NDEPCs) are required on the construction, sale or new lease of all commercial properties, unless they meet certain exemption criteria.
As of April 2018 all buildings (including those with current leases in place) now need to meet a minimum rating of E or above. Buildings that fall below this (F or G) will need to have remedial works carried out in order to comply.
Our assessors provide a modelling service to advise the most cost effect methods to bring the rating up to an E rating. This is far more cost effective than carrying out remedial works to the building first, only to find out that the works do not bring the building into compliance, or that there was a more cost effective solution.
