Environmental Noise Assessments

Environmental noise surveys are required to safeguard noise levels of new developments and projects are adhering to noise level requirements to limit the impact on the environment.

Noise assessments can be required as part of planning applications for proposals for housing developments, mixed-use developments, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects as well as permanent or temporary sites.

Occupational Noise and Vibration

HSE highlight that many employees in Britain are exposed to harmful noise levels at work, resulting in over 17,000 people with deafness, ringing in the ears or other ear conditions. The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 (the Noise Regulations) came into force for all industry sectors in Great Britain on 6th April 2006, except for the music and entertainment sectors where they came into force on 6th April 2008.

We provide short and long term noise and vibration monitoring and survey solutions across to help you remain compliant with the legislation and keeping your workforce safe.
