Artisan Environmental were contracted in 2010 by Wellington College to review their historic asbestos management documentation and update as required to keep them in line with current legislation.
Following a full audit of their records, Artisan carried out Management asbestos surveys of numerous buildings previously not investigated ranging from large accommodation blocks, teaching facilities to sports buildings. New material and priority risk assessments for all identified asbestos containing materials were developed, which were to form the backbone of a new estate wide Asbestos management plan. We worked closely with the college’s facilities team and developed a highly effective working relationship.
Artisan Environmental have successfully provided all Wellington College’s asbestos sampling, surveying and management services ever since, carrying out annual re-inspections of their asbestos registers, major refurbishment/demolition asbestos surveys to facilitate building upgrades, and assisting in the procurement, implementation and supervision of asbestos removal projects.
